I provide patient-centered care that emphasizes respect, education, and active participation in treatment plans. My goal is to help every individual understand how, why, and what we are doing to improve their mental health. I take a holistic approach, addressing all aspects of well-being, not just medication management. While my focus is on medication management, I incorporate therapy techniques into patient communication but do not offer formal therapy or counseling sessions.
The environment at my practice is relaxed and informal, designed to reduce "white coat" anxiety and the stigma around mental health treatment. I like to call it "Psychiatry with Personality."
I specialize with individuals on the LGBTQIA+ spectrum, mild/moderate depression, anxiety, sleep problems & genetics analysis & interpretation for young adults and adults aged 16-55.
