I specialize in working with clients who are going through some trying time in their lives - relationship stress/breakup, career frustration, health problems, or any life crisis. Sometimes this is a new issue and for others it can be a new event that triggers a long-standing issue. Either way, I work to stabilize symptoms as quickly as possible with medications as needed but also through diet and exercise. I then try to teach my clients how to avoid a return of their symptoms.
I believe common sense is as important as expertise when developing a treatment plan. Patients are not "cases", but real people, so I come up with an individualized plan to suit each patient's situation and I work closely with therapists for patients who already work with another provider.
In addition to my Manhattan and Charlotte offices, I offer video appointments. This makes it easier to fit appointments into busy schedules and helps consistency, which is key to successful treatment. Patients must either live or work in New York or North Carolina, or be located outside the United States.
