I provide comprehensive care for adults (18+) and seniors, treating a wide array mood and thinking disorders. My expertise includes major depression, chronic depression postpartum depression, adjustment disorders, mood swings, generalized anxiety, panic disorder, PTSD, OCD, phobias, bipolar disorder, psychosis, ADHD. I evaluate thyroid functions, metabolic syndrome, and vitamin levels to formulate individualized plan. I make judiciously use of medications and therapy to stabilize clients. After my medical education, I completed my psychiatric residency at KUMC and MCP, followed by a fellowship in psychopharmacology at WSU.
I worked at VAMC before transitioning to private practice, bringing extensive expertise as a medical officer and psychiatrist. My career spans rural settings, correctional facilities, nursing homes, and inpatient/outpatient and in teaching hospitals, I have also authored numerous medical articles and case reports.
Drawing on my education and experience, I build empathetic relationships to guide clients toward self-awareness and stability. I develop personalized, collaborative treatment plans, ensuring patients are fully informed. By integrating medication and therapy and coordinating with therapist/clinical team, I provide comprehensive care to achieve maximum relief.
