I earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree in 2015 from the University of South Alabama, and I received national board certification as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) in 2016. Specializing in psych mental health and helping clients achieve mental health stability is not just a job for me. It is my purpose!
My approach to treating mental health is founded on the belief that “A Healthy Mind Means a Healthy You!” I believe psychiatric mental healthcare is the foundation of overall health. That often means treating mental health issues with prescription medication(s) and reassessing symptoms at each clinical follow-up.
With each session, clients' thoughts and feelings will be acknowledged. The client can expect a peaceful and professional environment where they can feel comfortable and safe expressing themselves openly. I listen with intensity and meet clients where they are emotionally and mentally.
