About
I am a fully licensed psychiatrist (MD) specializing in psychotherapy. I treat adults with psychotherapy and additional medication management services if needed. (I am not accepting any medication-only patients.) I provide short and long-term psychotherapy, the frequency and length of which will depend on your needs. I treat depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, relationship issues, career issues, family issues, grief and life transitions, and low self-esteem.
Through therapy I can help guide you through an exploration of your thoughts, experiences and feelings to ultimately have a better understanding of yourself, your motivations, and those things that may keep you from moving forward or compel you to relive things you would rather leave behind.
At times you may experience symptoms that may deserve treatment with medication which should allow you to feel more like yourself and make it possible to engage more in life and therapy. It should not make you feel 'medicated' or numbed. I prescribe conservatively and will work with your preferences. Please call with questions and interests in treatment.
