I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner practicing both medication psychiatry and psychotherapy. I work with a team of psychiatric professionals in a group practice, Commerce Psychiatric Services, PLC located in Walled Lake, MI. I work with the ages of teens to senior adults. I enjoy helping people work through stress related emotional difficulties, depression, anxiety and other mood disorders. I find my patients experience with me the power of talking through issues can lead people to resolve stress and improve emotional well being.
I have training in various psychotherapy skills including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. These options allow me to work with patients who are interested in addressing more acute issues as well as those interested in changing deeper life long personality dynamics.
