Making the decision to seek help with your struggles can feel both uplifting and vulnerable. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space for us to talk. I help adults with a wide variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, loss, life transitions, self-esteem, coping with uncertainty, relationship problems, working towards goals, and finding meaning.
My approach to medication treatment is informed by getting to know you as a person, your present situation, and your goals. I specialize in psychoanalytic approaches, which inform my work with you on medication. I am also an Assistant Clinical Professor in the UCSF Department of Psychiatry, teaching psychoanalytic psychotherapy to resident physicians.
I will take a collaborative approach with you to develop a shared understanding of your unique experience and difficulties. I look forward to working together to develop a treatment plan that fits your needs.
