Roots & Respite is an outdoor integrative psychiatry practice dedicated to serving the healers and helpers of our world - it centers individuals who give of themselves but don’t consistently care for their own needs in return. Whether you’ve made helping others a profession, or if you have a helper’s spirit and are still finding your way, I’d love to offer support where I can. I feel especially called to treat cis women and people of AFAB experience, centering perimenopause and its overlap with mental health. Whatever you’re experiencing, if you want a fresh and personalized approach, outreach me - you will be heard and believed.
My focus is integrative psychiatry, which takes on a wider scope than more traditional practices. The work will feel personalized and account for your full experience, not simply a quick assessment of meds and symptoms. The care is informed by my interest in Women’s Health and Nutritional Psychiatry, with the goal of isolating root causes to ease suffering.
