About
I focus my practice on helping professionals in personal or professional crises - people who suffer in context of relationship issues, life transitions, work struggles, mood disorders and/or ineffective coping strategies. Most of my patients carry diagnoses of adjustment, mood and anxiety disorders. I use both psychopharmacology and psychotherapy, as clinically indicated.
I completed residency in Psychiatry at the Menninger Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences/Baylor College of Medicine. I spent the following 6 years doing a combination of inpatient work at Houston Methodist Hospital and outpatient care through Baylor Psychiatry Clinic. I am currently focused on my outpatient private practice.
I have additional psychotherapy training from the Houston Galveston Psychotherapy Institute. I am also a member of the Houston Methodist Comprehensive Sleep Disorders Program. I am a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc, a member of the American Board of Medical Specialties
