She provides psychiatric assessments, medication management, and holistic treatment planning to optimize mental health in adolescents and adults. Clinical interests include: anxiety disorders (including OCD and trauma-related disorders), depression and mood disorders, and ADHD – however, she welcomes all those who are seeking to improve their mental wellbeing. She is passionate about integrating various perspectives to help her patients focus on what is important in their lives.
Andrea believes that each person is the expert of their own experience, and approaches treatment as a collaborative process. She appreciates learning from, and working with, others to create a comprehensive plan to facilitate mental and emotional wellness.
Before her nursing career, Andrea trained as a naturopathic physician and acupuncturist at Bastyr University. Her interest in psychosomatic pain, and the connection between body and mind, led her to specialize within psychiatry, and obtain a Doctorate in Nursing Practice at Seattle University.
