My name is Andrea Davis, and I am a licensed Advanced Nurse Practitioner. I specialize in medication management for mental health problems. I have several years of experience working in the inpatient setting as a Psychiatric Nurse before becoming a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Mental health disorders I currently treat include mood disorders, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and stress management.
The first session will include an initial assessment and medication management. Therapy is also highly encouraged to maximize mental health care outcomes. Neurological psychological referrals, gene site testing, and labs will be included in care planning when appropriate.
My approach to providing mental health care includes a holistic approach to address various root causes of mental health problems. Psychotherapy, lifestyle changes, mindfulness practices, social support, spiritual practices, nutritional support, and recreational support can improve overall long-term well-being and increase patient empowerment.
