My treatment paradigm lays in the holistic understanding of each person I help. I understand that mental health is complex, and my work is tailored to address both the symptoms someone is experiencing as well as the underlying factors contributing to each patient’s unique struggles. My approach is empathetic and non-judgmental. My goal is to create a safe, nurturing space for my patients to openly share their thoughts and feelings with emphasis placed on fostering a strong therapeutic relationship with each person with whom I work. It is through this relationship that most of the healing and growth occurs.
I am well equipped and enjoy working with patients of all ages. Through my training in general psychiatry, I have expertise in women's mental health, anxiety, mood disorders (including depression, anxiety disorders, and bipolar disorder), PTSD, ADHD, and substance use disorders. I also have additional training in child and adolescent psychiatry.
