Hi, I’m Ana Maria Borrero, a double board-certified nurse practitioner in Psychiatric-Mental Health and Family Practice. With over 13 years in healthcare, I’ve dedicated my career to supporting people with anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction—and I truly love what I do. My path into psychiatry began at 16, after my parents were in a devastating car crash. I experienced the emotional aftermath—fear, grief, uncertainty—and realized how deeply we all need someone to listen, support, and guide us through healing. That experience forever shaped my commitment to mental health care.
I leave a safe, open-minded space, non-judgmental and easy to talk to first interview where the person is open to share their needs and their struggles. I have dealt with the depression after the death of my parents and struggled with anxiety and PTSD. I was able to overcome mental health challenges and want the same for my patients.
