I started my career in Havana, Cuba where I obtained a doctorate degree in medicine in 2007. That same year, I relocated to the US where I continued my studies and earned a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio in 2017 and dual certification as a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner in 2023. Being raised in a family of doctors and nurses, loving science and caring for people encourages me to follow this pathway.
You can expect an in-depth evaluation focusing on you as a whole. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan to help you feel better. I provide an environment where you are heard, understood and acknowledged.
It is all about your needs. I provide comprehensive screening tools; incorporate psychoeducation, along with a detailed evaluation to assess the need for pharmacologic treatment if that is what is best for you.
