As a dually certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner, I practice from an integrated psychiatric approach to exploring the mental health symptoms, physical health, environmental and lifestyle components of a person’s life to identify root causes and develop a comprehensive treatment map to reach optimal mental health wellness. I provide psychiatric medication management with individual psychotherapy, which allows people to have their mental health needs met within one therapy space from one provider. I collaborate closely with other treatment providers if someone is being seen for medication management only.
I offer multiple therapeutic approaches, such as the adaptive information processing model EMDR, cognitive and behavioral therapies, and integrative psychiatry to meet the diverse needs of the individual.
I am able to see individuals within 1-2 weeks for medication management which can serve as a bridge to in-network providers with long wait times.
