I bring a warm, compassionate, and calm energy to each patient interaction. As a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I strive to provide a caring relationship where each person can feel safe and accepted. Research increasingly supports an integrative approach to mental health care, which can include medication, therapy, nutritional support, and exploration of habits, history, and stressors. I will collaborate with you to find a treatment plan that is clinically appropriate and sensitive to your personal needs. I recently completed additional training and certification in perinatal mental health.
I welcome all patients but have special interest in perinatal mental health, mood disorders, ADHD, and working with teens, LGBTQ+ individuals and older adults. I have worked with diverse patient populations in and out of the hospital setting, in a corrections facility, at an outpatient addiction treatment center, and most recently the outpatient setting.
As a registered nurse, I worked for 16 years at St. Joseph Hospital caring for patients after surgery, during and after high-risk pregnancy, and caring for families experiencing fetal loss. I obtained certification in maternal-newborn and pain management nursing born out of passion and experience in these areas. I am currently accepting new patients.
