She has worked as a family nurse practitioner at Ohio University’s student health center and as adjunct faculty.
Recognizing the need for better access to mental healthcare, Dr. Hanson returned to school and earned her psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner degree from the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in 2024. She is dedicated to helping individuals express themselves and heal by emphasizing the importance of sharing personal stories.
