Amy is a double board-certified Adult and Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist. She completed medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine and went on to complete both her Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry training at the University of Maryland Medical Center / Sheppard Pratt, where she also served as Chief Fellow.
Amy has developed a strong passion for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, with a particular focus on early childhood trauma and women’s mental health. Her clinical experience spans a wide range of settings.
While she is well-versed in psychopharmacology, Amy strongly believes in a whole-person approach to treatment. Her work emphasizes not only medication management but also the importance of lifestyle, relationships, and overall well-being in supporting mental health.
