Hi, I'm Amy.
There is no set approach to mental health care, individualized care is a key component to successful treatment. I am committed to helping clients manage everyday stressors. Setting goals and working towards meeting those goals, while addressing the needs of your mind and body, is key. Seeking help can feel scary and overwhelming, however you are making an important choice to become the best version of yourself. We're in this together!
During the first session with me, clients can expect to discuss their reasons for seeking mental health care, their current challenges and concerns, and their goals for treatment. I will also gather some background information about their personal history, relationships, and any previous experiences with treatment.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, you will be able to recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
