I enjoy building relationships with my patients and working towards creating a personalized treatment plan which may include medication, psychotherapy, lifestyle changes, or a combination of each. I have an integrative approach, wherein I assess one’s psychological, emotional, medical and environmental contributors to behavior. My style is collaborative, person-centered and warm. I have a special interest in treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders and ADHD. I also have an interest in sports psychiatry.
I completed my psychiatry residency at The Ohio State University and my child & adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Nationwide Children's Hospital / The Ohio State University. I have been involved in clinical trials to identify new pharmacological and interventional modalities as well as research to identify the most efficacious ways to diagnose and treat.
From a therapy standpoint I am trained and can provide cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure-response prevention and behavior management training (utilizing skills from both parent-child interaction therapy and the incredible years).
