As a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, I treat all mental health conditions for those 18 years and older, ranging from anxiety and depression to bipolar disorder and psychosis. I also specialize in trauma and integrative psychiatry. I am a trained crisis counselor, SAFE-EMDR therapist, and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). After graduating from UC, I completed a residency in geriatric psychiatry, eventually created a dementia support program, now a part of the CMS Guide model in Ohio.
I have over 20 years of experience providing care while in military & civilian roles. I am now the Director of our Dementia Support Program and Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMHP). I am also completing my integrative psychiatry certificate through IPI and specialize in functional psychiatry, and I'm certified in nutritional psychiatry.
I advocate for a comprehensive perspective on mental health. I provide both medication management and therapy, as well as emphasizing the significance of focusing on the entire body and identifying the root cause.
