I am a PMHNP located in Idaho Falls with telehealth options for Idaho residents as well. I am board certified to independently diagnose, treat, and prescribe medications for psychiatric conditions. I attended graduate school at Eastern Kentucky University. I earned three other undergraduate degrees from Idaho State University and the University of Idaho. I have experience with psychiatric inpatient and outpatient settings. In addition to the medical field I have worked in a variety of industries including university research, biomedical lab work, PSR services, and teaching. I look forward to working with you.
I believe we should explore the minimal prescription needed, if any, to reach our intended goal. I enjoy reading and listening to current research regarding psychiatric medications and conditions and this greatly influences my evidence-based practice. I find it useful to educate patients as much as possible regarding their treatment.
There is not one specific patient population that I am passionate about. My job satisfaction comes from helping people, of all ages and from all walks-of-life.
