I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I treat a wide variety of mental health issues for all ages. My goal is to ensure I work alongside the patient to ensure they are an active participant in their treatment and plan. I work with patients ranging from childhood to late adulthood. I most often work with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and ADHD. I provide a varied approach based on the patient's individual needs but may include behavioral, cognitive, humanistic, and biological approaches.
I like to create an environment of comfort and trust. I provide a supportive and comfortable space to allow clients to let their guard down and be honest about their symptoms and experiences while maintaining professionalism.
I prefer to set small, manageable goals with patients for them to meet between sessions. Completing those mini-goals allows patients to feel accomplished and sets them up for success.
