Hi, my name is Mandy and I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in integrative psychiatry. I work with all ages and my goal is to promote optimal wellness, rather than just stick a bandage on a wound via a pill. Integrative psychiatry means western medicine and eastern medicine. I do prescribe medication, however I may also recommend nutraceuticals, mind body approaches, and/or other therapeutic, holistic, energetic, or complementary means. My goal is to help you heal and help YOU get to know YOU better!
Working in child welfare for the State of New Jersey for 8 years, I gained extensive experience working with the most challenging of family dynamics & providing trauma-informed care is a priority. My 17 year nursing background includes experience in both inpatient & outpatient settings as well as training in school psychiatry at the Y.A.L.E. School.
I value and respect people. I enjoy my patients and I care about their story. It is important to me to meet my patients where they are at. My goal is to help promote resiliency beyond your circumstance, creating a safe and collaborative space for you to heal and get to understand yourself better!
