About
I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who specializes in working with the child (ages 5 and up), adolescent, and college populations. My professional interests include working with autism spectrum disorders and disruptive behavioral and impulse control disorders. I also treat ODD, ADHD, anxiety and depression, as well as other mood and thought disorders. My approach to prescribing is conservative in nature, and I tend to lean towards a more therapeutic and holistic perspective in psychiatry.
Working in child welfare for the State of New Jersey for 8 years, I gained extensive experience working with the most challenging of family dynamics & am committed to providing trauma-informed care. My 15 year nursing background includes experience in both inpatient & outpatient settings as well as school psychiatry training at the Y.A.L.E. School.
I value and respect people. I enjoy my patients and I care about their story. It is important to me to meet my patients where they are at.
