About
Dr. Amanda Bennett is a board-certified psychiatrist trained in Adult Psychiatry who specializes in medication management for a variety of psychiatric conditions. She completed medical school at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her adult residency training at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center/Tufts University School of Medicine.Dr. Bennett has worked in a variety of treatment settings, including inpatient and outpatient, as well as community and academic centers.
Following completion of her training, she worked at McLean hospital as the Assistant Medical Director of an acute inpatient unit and as a staff psychiatrist in the TMS department. She also served as an instructor in Psychiatry for Harvard Medical School trainees and currently maintains her affiliation with McLean Hospital.
Dr. Bennett's practice focuses on individualized medication management with 30-minute follow-up sessions. She has a wide range of experience in depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, and related mood disorders as well as ADHD. Dr. Bennett's approach is collaborative and supportive.
