I work with people facing a wide range of difficulties. They may be struggling with depression, anxiety, a sense of emptiness or feeling lost. Often, they find themselves having relational problems, such as difficulty developing long lasting relationships or frequently having unsatisfying, confusing, or problematic encounters with friends, colleagues, or family members. I also work with people dealing with major life transitions, including marriage, becoming a parent, significant medical events, and grief following the death of a loved one or pregnancy loss.
I provide psychoanalytic psychotherapy for adults, a form of treatment that offers you the opportunity to develop deep insight and make lasting change so that you can find relief in the short- and long-term. In some cases, I also find that the judicious use of medications can be helpful as the work of therapy unfolds.
I welcome a phone call to discuss your needs and see if I might be a good fit for you.

Group Therapy for Bereaved Parents
The experience of losing a child is a profound, life changing event. Often, people who have had a child die can feel alienated from their lives in significant ways, including isolation from other people who don't know what to say or how to behave, a sense of distance from one's own identity and values, and uncertainty about whether it's possible to live a meaningful life. In this 6-week group, you will have the opportunity to connect with other bereaved parents around what has been lost, where you are now, and what comes next.
