As a general and geriatric psychiatrist, Dr. Nagy has experience in diagnosing and providing psychopharmacological treatment to patients with a wide range of mental health conditions, including depressive disorders, trauma related and anxiety conditions, bipolar spectrum disorders, psychotic disorders as well as addiction related conditions. From 2014 to 2020 Dr. Nagy worked at the Bedford, Massachusetts VA Medical Center as the program psychiatrist for the severely mental illness (SMI) program, for which he received the I CARE award of the VA Medical Center.
In his role as an attending psychiatrist at the Bedford VA he mentored physician assistant and medical students as well as resident physicians. He also served at the Bedford Veterans Administration in advisory and review capacity as a member of the Professional Standard Board. Dr. Almos Nagy, M.D.
is a Board Certified psychiatrist with 10 years experience in mental health treatment of adults. Dr. Nagy received his Board Certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in 2013. He is licensed to practice medicine in the field of Psychiatry in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
