I am board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in adult, child and adolescent psychiatry. I provide treatment for a range of mental health disorders using a combination of medication, psychotherapy and alternative treatments. I have a special interest in complementary and alternative forms of medicine including yoga, meditation, exercise and nutrition and an appreciation for the interplay between mental and physical health.
I obtained my undergraduate degree in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology at the University of Colorado, Boulder and my M.D. from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. I completed 5 years of residency and fellowship training in adult, child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of California, Irvine.
In addition to my work at the Premier Mind Institute (www.premiermindinstitute.com), I also work as a child and adolescent psychiatrist at Childnet Youth and Family Services in Long Beach and provide clinical coverage at Royale Therapeutic Residential Center in Santa Ana, CA.
