I am Allison, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner devoted to creating an inclusive, compassionate space where every patient feels seen, respected, and empowered in their healing journey. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, a bachelor’s in Nursing from San Francisco State University, and a master’s in Nursing with a concentration in Psychiatric Mental Health from California State University, Los Angeles. I have worked in both acute inpatient and outpatient medical settings for over 6 years and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience.
My approach to psychiatry is rooted in collaboration, combining evidence-based psychopharmacology, cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies (CBT and DBT), mindfulness-oriented somatic modalities, and thoughtfully chosen supplements within a patient-led framework.
I treat a range of conditions including depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, ADD/ADHD, trauma, and PTSD, and practice from a neurodiverse-affirming perspective. I welcome patients from all backgrounds and identities, including children, adolescents, LGBTQ+, and BIPOC individuals.
