Hi there, I am a Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse practitioner, and I work with individuals aged 6 to 17. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, my primary role is medication management. I work closely with patients and their families to determine if medication may be helpful to addressing mental health symptoms. Diagnoses I assess and treat include anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, adjustment disorders, mood/behavioral concerns related to autism spectrum disorder, and childhood trauma. My goal as a provider is to support, encourage and empower patient's to be the best version of themselves.
My clinical approach to treatment of mental health disorders includes medication, brief-therapy, lifestyle modification (diet, sleep, exercise, technology exposure), and complimentary therapy, if indicated.
My relationship with my patients is considered to be collaborative. I make it a priority to listen to the requests and needs of my patients and their families. I strive to create a supportive environment that involves patients in their treatment journey as I believe it leads better patient outcomes.
