Hello All. I am Alicia Wilson. I am a doctorally prepared, board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I strive to make sure that each of my patients and their families are reassured that I listen and hear them. Each treatment plan is individualized and supported by standard-of-care guidelines. I utilize my diverse experience as a provider in the emergency room, a family medicine clinic, hospice, urgent care, and a nursing home to apply thorough treatment. With my vast knowledge, I am motivated and dedicated to helping treat a person physically, emotionally, and mentally.
I have experience in managing a variety of mental health disorders from school-aged children through the lifespan to geriatrics. I am competent in the diagnosis and treatment of depression, anxiety, Bipolar disorder, ADHD, schizophrenia, and schizoaffective disorder. I also have experience working with individuals with various personality disorders.
After working as a Family Nurse Practitioner for 10+ years, I encountered a multitude of patients struggling with mental health. At times, I felt helpless in knowing how to help. I decided to gain knowledge to help fill the gap of limited resources for mental health treatment.
