I am a psychiatrist trained at Yale University, where I completed both my general psychiatry residency and fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry. During residency, I served as chief resident and developed a strong foundation in both psychotherapy and medication management. In my private practice, I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I take a collaborative and holistic approach to care, recognizing that emotional and behavioral challenges don’t exist in isolation—they are shaped by our biology, relationships and environments.
I have experience treating a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders. I also have a particular interest in parenting issues, learning differences, attentional challenges, and how these impact the family system, self-esteem, and day-to-day functioning. My style is warm, practical, and nonjudgmental.
My approach integrates thoughtful medication management with psychotherapy principles, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic perspectives. I aim to help patients not only feel better in the short term, but also develop deeper insight, resilience, and tools they can use long term.
