I am a Spanish speaking Psychiatric Nurse practitioner with more than two decades of experience in healthcare. I've had the privilege of working with individuals in many walks of life from emergencies to correctional facilities. I take a holistic approach to diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and schizophrenia.
I believe in taking a comprehensive approach that targets the brain and body connection by using pharmacological interventions and psychotherapeutic approaches, combined or independently. I typically use a number of therapeutic methods, such as medication management, talk therapy, cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness and more.
My hope is to be able to establish a relationship where we can have the necessary dialogues to explore and understand the underlying factors and maladaptive behaviors that could be contributing to distress and find the most appropriate treatment for you.
