Alexandra uses psychiatric medication minimally and believes that the best outcomes are achieved with a combination of medication and therapy. One her favorite parts of her job is gradually helping people come off medication when appropriate. She also uses acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) as a therapeutic approach to provide a mindfulness-based and person-centered treatment plan. Alexandra’s work is motivated by curiosity, compassion, and a deep respect for her fellow humans.
