She began her training with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing through an accelerated program at St. Joseph’s Hospital campus of Grand Canyon University. Dr. Moore furthered her education with Grand Canyon University and obtained a Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in nursing education.

Her nursing background includes pediatric intensive care, pre-operative and post anesthesia, as well as inpatient psychiatry at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Dr. Moore has a passion for teaching and is special faculty at Creighton University. A fun fact about Dr. Moore is that she holds a first-degree black belt in Taekwondo.
