Dr. Dunn completed her medical training at University of California, Irvine School of Medicine and moved to New York to complete her psychiatric residency training at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. During her training, she gained extensive clinical experience treating patients of all ages and backgrounds. She co-led a mindfulness group in the outpatient clinic, worked with students at Baruch College and rotated with the Assertive Community Treatment team at MSBI. Ultimately she chose to specialize in outpatient care, specifically treating patients with mood and anxiety disorders.
While Dr. Dunn’s practice primarily focuses on medication management, she also incorporates supportive and cognitive behavioral therapeutic techniques into her sessions. When appropriate she will refer for psychotherapy and collaborate with your psychotherapist to support your care.
