As an integrative psychiatrist, developmental neuroscientist, and psychoanalytic psychotherapist, I work to meet you as a whole person—mind, brain, body, and soul. When medication can support our work, I prescribe collaboratively. I bring particular experience with busy professionals, immigrants, racial and ethnic minorities, physicians, and entrepreneurs.
I studied Brain, Behavior, and Cognitive Science at the University of Michigan, and went on to earn both an MD and a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Iowa. I trained in psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh, where I was chief resident for psychotherapy. I have pursued advanced psychoanalytic training at the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute.
