| español My name is Dr. Alden Bush, and I am a bilingual, board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I hold a doctorate from Columbia University and have extensive experience working with adults facing various mental health issues. Some of the areas I have worked intensively in include adult ADHD, trauma, depression, anxiety, and insomnia. As of this moment, however, I treat ADHD exclusively. I strongly believe in evidence-based practice and in prescribing in a manner that empowers patients. Additionally, I support precision care and may sometimes recommend pharmacogenetic testing.
I am a strong supporter of the combined efficacy of psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy for symptom relief. I recommend all of my patients find a dedicated therapist while receiving my medication management services. Although I don't provide psychotherapy services, I do incorporate supportive therapy in each of my medication management sessions.
