I have been a physician for over 30 years, a board-certified psychiatrist, specialized in child and adolescent psychiatry, but offer services to all age groups. I have held a directorship position at various mental health facilities over the years, supervised many psychiatrists, and APNs. I have a vast experience in helping people with serious mental illnesses, including but limited to Major depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, anxiety, ADHD, autistic spectrum disorder, substance use disorders.
For patients’ convenience, I have chosen to do face to face in-person or virtual sessions, based on individual’s needs. I practice evidence-based medicine, and strongly believe in psychotherapy.
My philosophy is mental health requires first and fore most proper diagnosis, all of us are very unique in many ways, even though someone suffers from depression, his or her symptoms can be quite different than others, that requires a tailored approach to their treatment.
