For over 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping people with a vast array of emotional issues. I utilize my understanding of my patients’ past and current life situations, and what I see happening within the therapeutic relationship, to help my patients achieve their goals. I've trained as a psychiatrist and sub-specialized in doing psychoanalysis and intensive psychotherapy. I bring special listening skills to each encounter with my patients, listening for that which is said and also that which is under the surface. I share my understanding with my patients in order to help them make desired changes.

Taking the first step to understand and improve yourself can make one feel very vulnerable but I'll walk the path alongside you. My genuine interest in my patients and my clinical expertise, all help me to help you develop the tools needed to change suffering into joy and “feeling stuck” into good, purposeful, and happier living.
