I work with adults seeking greater clarity, stability, and confidence in their mental health. My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care that helps you better understand your symptoms and move toward meaningful, lasting improvement.

I believe effective treatment begins with listening. I take time to understand your unique experiences, concerns, and goals before making recommendations. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan and regularly evaluate what is helping so adjustments can be made when needed.

Currently accepting new patients and often within a week. I provide psychiatric care for adults through in-person and telehealth appointments, with evening and weekend availability. I provide psychiatric services in English, Arabic, and Somali. I'm in-network with United Healthcare, Optum, UMR, and GEHA insurance and provide a superbill for other insurance.

Led by Jared Torbet, LPC, this group is designed for college students ages 18-26, and provides ongoing support & accountability throughout each semester to better promote academic success, improve school-life balance, and increase a sense of personal fulfillment. Us ADHDers tend to slack off, procrastinate, find something more fun than homework to do, and as a result, we fall behind, and experience the regrettable consequences. This group provides accountability via peer support. Throughout each semester, members will connect with one another both inside and outside of group, with a focus on understanding, acceptance, encouragement, accountability, and self-confidence.
