I received my medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, where I first fell in love with the field of psychiatry and the opportunity it presents to help people achieve recovery and overcome mental health challenges. Esther Camilus has a great passion for helping others. She began her nursing career in 2004 working at JFK Medical Center as a Nurse Associate. During this time, she obtained her RN from Palm Beach State College. Over two decades of working as an RN with mental health patients, she has developed a strong passion for mental health. She decided to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing at Walden University to obtain her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree in 2021. Esther has devoted her life to helping others both locally and abroad. She goes to Haiti every year on a mission trip with other healthcare providers.

Dr. Ebony Davis-Petit earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She went on to receive her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. She completed her adult psychiatry residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital and her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology in adult psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.

I am originally from Lima, Peru and raised in Miami. Growing up I enjoyed playing tennis and reading as much as possible. Upon high school graduation I decided to stay close to my family and attended the University of Miami. During my time there I became an avid fan of the Hurricanes but after college my desire to become a physician and my husband’s job took us to the Midwest. I have since returned to join Delray Beach Psychiatry where I currently treat Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, OCD and PTSD with either medication and/or therapy.

I moved from New York in 2015 to be closer to my family and to help raise my children. As most know it takes a village. I will admit the weather and palm trees don't hurt either.
