Welcome! I’m a masters prepared, double board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). I provide mental health treatment including medication management for adolescents and adults with various conditions including mood disorders, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, behavioral issues, trauma, attention and concentration difficulties, and troubled thought patterns. My special interests include working with the young to middle aged adult populations who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and those who may be going through life changes and transitions.

Marisa Amelung, MSN, PMHNP-BC, APN, is a master's prepared, board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) extern. She currently serves clients ages 18+ at Peak Interactive Wellness in Denver, Colorado. Marisa graduated from the University of Central Florida with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and attended Frontier Nursing University where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).

Kristin Demmert, WHNP, PMHNP, MSN, RN attended Johns Hopkins for her bachelor's degree and the University of Colorado for her master's and post-master's. She has practiced as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner for over a decade and then added mental health nursing to her scope of practice. Kristin treats all mental health concerns and has a particular interest in women's behavioral health including perinatal mental health, infertility, menstrual disorders, and menopause.

Currently working at two outpatient clinics, I continue to expand my clinical proficiency and stay at the forefront of advancements in psychiatric care. My passion lies in helping patients through medication administration, therapy, and ketamine-assisted therapy. With a focus on patients aged 18 years and older, I have extensive experience in treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, trauma/PTSD, substance abuse, and attention issues.

Caroline “Callie” Fernandez is a Columbia University trained, and Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, with extensive experience in medication management and psychotherapy. While Callie cares for clients across the lifespan, she has additional training in the treatment of children/adolescents, and integrates developmental strategies into all of her client work. Since focusing solely on medication might not address all of a client’s goals, Callie strives to understand the whole individual to tailor unique treatment recommendations.

My style of conservative psychopharmcological treatment is designed to be utilized collaboratively with the addition of a primary psychotherapist. Other important aspects of focus in his practice include: complementary and alternative medicine, lifestyle modification, exercise, nutrition, and stress management.

My name is Erin and welcome to the first step in accessing psychiatric mental health care. A little about me: my style of practice includes treatment of the whole person and takes the mental, emotional, spiritual, social, and physical health of my clients into account. My prescribing style involves the least number of medications at the lowest possible doses for optimal effect in conjunction with psychotherapy, as necessary, and lifestyle and nutritional modifications.

Hello! I am currently accepting new patients as of 1/20/2022. All visits are through telemedicine, so I can see anyone in the state of Colorado or Massachusetts. My love for what I do in psychiatry, comes from the joy I get in helping others improve their lives. Most of my patients do not know which direction to go when then come to me, and that is ok. Some people come to me looking for second or third opinions about diagnosis or medications, some people are referred by a therapist to start medication. We can openly discuss decisions and options.
