I have over thirty-five years of delivery of care to a diverse group of patients in various clinical settings ranging from clinics, office practice, and partial hospital settings to inpatient psychiatry. My philosophy is to work collaboratively with the patient and family. I believe strongly in the power of connecting, that no one is defined by their diagnosis or symptoms, and attention must be paid to the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of treatment for lasting recovery.

I am a Columbia/Cornell trained, triple board certified psychiatrist with broad training in psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, forensic psychiatry, and emergency psychiatry. I work with patients to get practical outcomes, such as improving school or work performance, relationships, or self-esteem.

I am a person centered psychiatric nurse practitioner. I value being a part of your treatment team and view our work together as a partnership in healing, recovering and achieving. I provide an integrated approach to medication management with therapeutic techniques to help you actualize your treatment goals.

I have focused training in perinatal psychiatry. I provide medication management for preconception, pregnant, and postpartum families. I have a special interest in working with individuals coping with stress related to infertility and medical complications during the perinatal period, including, high-risk pregnancy, fetal diagnosis, congenital anomalies, NICU stays and transitions home after a NICU hospitalization.

I help people with anxiety, depression, transitions in life, trauma, illness and grief. I customize the treatment plan to each patient's needs using psychotherapy, medication, EMDR, CBT, group therapy, self-compassion and mindfulness. Clients feel empowered to reach their highest potential in personal relationships, life and work. I work with adults across the lifespan and young adults launching into independence and finding meaningful work and relationships.
