Hello! I am a New York born and bred compassionate, Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. You will find that my goal in our sessions is to help you live a more fulfilling life. My approach to treatment is dynamic, holistic and individualistic. You will find in our sessions a compassionate, and safe therapeutic environment that fosters both healing and change. I am a board-certified family psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner specializing in female health psychiatry, male health, and adolescent psychiatry. My focus is on health promotion during life transitions such as pregnancy, and childbirth, for both females and males, as well as changes in schools and college admissions for teenagers and adolescents. In my practice, I prioritize establishing a therapeutic partnership built on mutual respect, trust, and self-reflection. My goal is to support and guide you in strengthening and developing skills to navigate current challenges, gain insight into your past, and move to the future.

My goal is to provide patient-centered, individualized, and holistic care for my patients. I believe that a focus and orientation towards mental wellness is more beneficial than addressing client's symptoms through a mental illness lens. Shared decision making and collaboration are important values in my practice in order to meet patients where they are at. Clinical assessments are considered through a biopsychosocial model to consider the full picture. My intent is that patients learn more about themselves to integrate learned tools to cope and thrive in their lives beyond our therapy and/or medication management sessions.

Victoriya utilizes a culturally competent and holistic approach that is tailored to each client’s individual needs, understanding that everyone’s path to wellbeing is a unique journey. She combines her knowledge of psychopharmacology and psychotherapy to provide each client with a treatment plan that aligns with their goals and lifestyle. She strives to create a safe space for clients to feel empowered to be active participants in their mental health care. She utilizes rational emotive behavior therapy and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing alongside medication management to tailor each client’s treatment plan.
