Hi, my name is Kunbi Akins. I am an experienced psychiatric and mental health provider serving Virginia and DC. I graduated with my master’s degree from George Washington University. I have strong expertise in conducting a thorough assessment, diagnosis, and drawing treatment plans for my clients. I also provide medication management services, and I educate my clients and prescribe medications that best address their mental health needs and lifestyles. I do this in conjunction with psychotherapy services.
I serve school-age kids starting from age 6, adolescents, and adults with ADHD, Autism, Depression, Bipolar disorders, Anxiety disorders, PTSD, and other life stressors. Your psychiatric medications are chosen and managed carefully, having safety, effectiveness, and evidence-based practice in mind, and oftentimes combined with therapies.
