Hi, I’m Adam, a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner based in Portland, Oregon. I work with folks who are new to meds, sensitive to side effects, looking to change their prescriptions, or just unsure of where to start. I provide personalized, thorough, no-rush care, with the goal of establishing a trusting relationship and working with you over the long term. I specialize in providing LGBTQ+ and neurodiversity-affirming med management for a variety of conditions. I work closely with my clients to explore medication that best fits with their symptoms, goals, and lifestyle. I am fluent in Spanish.

My process begins with a thorough, 90 minute initial evaluation. We will build trust, explore underlying causes for your symptoms, discuss various treatment options, and develop a follow-up plan. I am passionate about educating my clients to facilitate informed shared decision-making. Additionally, I offer thoughtful de-prescribing/transition plans.

About me: a gay Portlander with Nicaraguan heritage and Californian roots. I live with my partner, two cats, and a dog. I love rock climbing, board games, and drag.
