I am a Harvard-trained board certified psychiatrist with a staff affiliation at McLean hospital. I specialize in providing growth oriented psychotherapy. I can provide medication management to clients I see for regular therapy. My area of expertise is in working with clients with trauma/PTSD, borderline personality, or those with struggles regulating emotions or who use substances to cope. I also am broadly trained to work with a full range of conditions including anxiety, depression, bipolar, ADHD and more. I work with clients new to therapy and those who have tried numerous treatments and haven't gotten the results they wanted.
My goal is to understand the core issues holding you back and facilitate change. I am an expert in psychotherapy approaches including Mentalization Based Therapy (MBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma Reprocessing/EMDR, and Motivation Enhancement to help you get the results you want.
Change is hard. I appreciate that there is not a one size fits all approach to healing and I am dedicated to exploring with you, through a collaborative effort, a treatment approach that will work for you.
