I am a board certified psychiatrist who works with adults struggling with a variety of issues. I am an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, teaching and training medical students and psychiatry residents. In addition to general psychiatry, I have extensive experience treating women who are or who are considering becoming pregnant. Though medications can be helpful, they often do not provide the deep and lasting change many patients desire. For this reason, I sought advanced psychotherapy training after completing my psychiatric residency.
I believe that past relationships and experiences shape how we encounter the world today. Together, we can work to understand these patterns that seem difficult to grasp and out of your control.
