She loves to read and since high school she has been interested in learning about psychology, human behavior and understanding the why behind it all. She wants to meet people where they’re at in life and explore evidence-based treatment modalities that they feel would be beneficial; that could include medication management, psychotherapy, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), ecotherapy, mindfulness and meditation, creative therapies, or lifestyle modifications.
Abbey’s philosophy of care is to focus on building a strong therapeutic alliance with clients that helps them feel empowered to prioritize their mental health and wellbeing. Her goal is to create a non-judgmental space where she can guide and assist people on their journey to a life where they aren’t being controlled by their mental health symptoms.
